The Emma Cameron Foundation hosted their 8th Annual Ceilidh at Òran Mór at the start of October.
The Foundation was started back in 2011 following Emma passing away from Bone Cancer and raises funds for children with cancer. One of their very first events was their 2012 Ceilidh at Òran Mór and since then the event has grown significantly.
This year’s event raised over £13000 bringing the total for all 8 ceilidhs to over £50,000! 175 guests of the charity enjoyed the Strath Ceilidh Band following a three course meal and contributed to the fundraising via raffles and auctions. Next years ceilidh is already booked for the 2nd October 2020.
This is our main fundraiser of the year and having a fantastic venue that we come back to every year with staff who exceed our expectations has really contributed to the success of this event, all our guests love the venue and it’s lay out.
