Live Events at Òran Mór – Reopening Statement

We are delighted that after the guidance announcements on Tuesday 3rd August 2021 we are now able to fully reopen our doors without reduced capacity and get back to “Arts For All, All Year Round” with our fantastic programme of live entertainment. We can’t wait to have you all back!!

First of all we would like to thank you for your support over the past 17 months whether that has been messages or coming for a drink and food when we have been operating under a reduced capacity, it has been greatly appreciated and kept us going to get to this point where we can welcome you back properly.

Now that we have got to this point we ask that when you come back to a show here you continue to show your support by first of all looking out for, and respecting, each other when in the venue. It might be daunting for some people to come back to bigger crowds. Please also show respect and understanding to the staff working at the shows, it has been a long time since they have worked in this sort of environment and there are going to be some challenges along the way but empathy and understanding will go a long way to making sure it is a positive experience for everyone.

It goes without saying that we can’t go straight back to the way things were before and there will be some differences when you come to a show here for the foreseeable future. We at Òran Mór pride ourselves in looking after the welfare of our staff, performers and customers, to that end we will strive to follow current guidelines on the following:-

TRACK & TRACE

We will require you to give contact details for Track & Trace when coming into the building. There will be a QR code to scan on entry for this but if you are having trouble with the code or your phone doesn’t have the capability there will always be a member of staff to assist you.

MASKS

Masks are required on entry at all times. No masks are required when drinking, dining or dancing. All our staff will continue to wear masks while working in the venue.

VACCINATION/TESTING

Òran Mór advises it is for every individual to take seriously their own personal health by proactively safeguarding themselves against COVID 19 before entering our premises.

VENTILATION

We operate an Air Displacement Ventilation System in our premises ensuring a maximum air change at all times.

SANITISING/HYGIENE

Please use all sanitising stations that are available to you on the premises. Our premises are deep cleaned by our cleansing staff after all events

To summarise please help keep yourself and others safe by following current guidelines while visiting and then above all please enjoy the show!!
