A lovely customer got in touch to show us a video they’ve made reciting Willie Sinclair’s poem ‘Tae A Virus’, and that customer turned out to be actor Denis Lawson!
Denis, who was born in Glasgow and trained here, loved Willie’s poem so much he learned it by heart to recite to friends and family… we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Big thanks to Karen, Denis’ wife for sending us the video…
Stay safe everyone!

In Conversation: David Hayman talks to artist Nichol Wheatley on his depiction of Burns' masterpiece Tam O'Shanter in ten major paintings for Òran Mór. youtu.be/clA2o6MEvgo
“His work is simply magnificent and I’ve no doubt it will stand tall amongst all the other great Burns art that has preceded it. The creation of Òran Mór was to encourage ‘Art for All, All Year Round’ and it’s important to me that we support Scottish artists." Colin Beattie pic.twitter.com/ivni3AWSoG
“I’ve always wanted to make these paintings and this commission has been a challenge and a delight." Nichol Wheatley pic.twitter.com/XpRmxRlCHg
