As well as performing at reputable venues around the country, Tiderays have also been involved in larger-scale events. They took to the stage during the Big Burns Supper Arts Festival in Dumfries in 2017 and 2018 alongside Scottish legend Eddi Reader and a host of other acts to toast the bard. The band have since went on to make their debut music festival appearance at Electric Fields Festival in 2017 opening the main stage.
Since their debut demo in 2017, Tiderays have released two singles. In July 2018 they released ‘The Anchor’, engineered and produced by Rod Jones (Idlewild) at Post Electric Studios, Leith, Scotland. The Anchor was played extensively across digital networks and was featured by Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio.
In October 2018, they released ‘Papillon’. Engineered and produced by Dave Miller (Electric Fields, Big Burns Supper, ONR.) at Circa 16 Recording Studios in Dumfries. This has been picked up by both digital and FM stations in Scotland and around the UK. It received Jim Gellatly’s ‘Track of the Day’ on Amazing Radio in November and then was featured on the BBC Introducing Mixtape by Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 Music.
